Birth Doula Packages
We do not charge anything for initial consultations. We strongly believe it is important that you choose the doula that will work best for you and your individual needs and shouldn't feel pressured to pay a preliminary fee. That said, we are confident that you will find that we are just what you are looking for in a doula.
Our initial meeting is mostly for you to get to know us. Second and third pre-natal visits are intended for us to get to know you - to discuss your hopes for your birth and your labor preferences, to learn what comfort measures you'd like us to try and to practice them, and to address any concerns or fears you have regarding your birth.
We offer three packages to choose from based on what works best for your individual needs:
Option #1 - $500; A retainer fee of $200 is due when you contract for our services. The balance is due when you reach the 36th week of your pregnancy.
Option #2 - $700; A retainer fee of $200 is due when you contract for our services. The balance is due when you reach the 36th week of your pregnancy.
Option #3 - $1000; A retainer fee of $300 is due when you contract for our services. The balance is due when you reach the 36th week of your pregnancy.
Optional Services
Belly Casting - $70. Includes a one and a half hour meeting plus all materials.
Pregnancy Photography - $40. Includes a one and a half hour meeting. Your camera or ours, your home or elsewhere. Does not include photo developing.
Pregnancy Henna - $100. Includes a two hour meeting and all supplies.
Placenta Prints - $30. Includes one half hour plus ink and archival quality paper.
Postpartum Doula Options
Our postpartum doula services are available for $20/hour. The minimum contract is for three 4-hour days. Half of the total due for the contracted hours/days is due at the time the contract is signed. The balance is due when the contract is completed.
Birth Tub Rental
Our Aquadoula birth tub is available for rent for $250, plus an additional $250 security deposit which will be refunded when the pool is returned clean, intact, with all parts functional. Fifty dollars ($50) is due at the time you reserve the tub, with the balance due when you pick it up.
If you prefer, the tub can be delivered and set up for an additional $100. Disassembly, cleaning, and return of the tub can also be arranged for $100.
